2019 Special Recognition Award Recipient
Mariann Frank is a parapro in the upper elementary self contained ASD classroom at Central. This is her third year with Okemos Public Schools and in the ASD room. Mariann received her Liberal Arts degree from Oakland Community College. She also has behavioral training from a board certified behavior analyst.
When not in the classroom Mariann enjoys spending time with her family; husband, Steve, daughters, Peyton and Delany, and sons, Connor and Dalton. She also loves going on adventures, hiking, kayaking, golfing and Monday night Bingo.
Speaking of her classroom experience Mariann says, “Working with Abby Showerman and the incredible team has opened my eyes to love and embrace the children we work with. I am so proud to work with a team that jumps into action.”
