The OPS elementary music teachers received a generous grant from the Okemos Education Foundation to be able to attend the Michigan Music Conference this year. They attended a variety of sessions targeting different aspects of elementary music education such as folk dance, social-emotional learning, music literacy and composition, culturally responsive teaching, and many more! Thank you to the OEF for this opportunity to grow as music educators.
