(Secretary and Publicity Chair) moved to Okemos in 2001 with her family. A native of Traverse City, Michelle received her Bachelors degree in Communications from Hope College, and completed a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University. She worked in various positions in higher education for 18 years, spending 9 years serving as an Associate Director for Career Services at MSU College of Law. Michelle is also a certified etiquette consultant, and has provided educational workshops and training sessions for students, professionals, and organizations nationally. Michelle’s husband, John, is an Anesthesiologist practicing with Physician Anesthesia Service, PC. at Sparrow Hospital. They have two children; Mackenzie, (OHS class of '15) who attends Hope College, and Connor, (OHS class of '18) who attends MSU. Michelle served as an OEF Trustee from 2010-2018.
