
Matthew Koehler
is a professor of education at Michigan State University with over 20 years of experience teaching educational psychology and educational technology to undergraduate and graduate students in face-to-face, online, and hybrid settings. He has earned degrees in Mathematics (B.S.), Computer Science (B.S., M.S.) and Educational Psychology (Ph.D.) from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Matthew is an active researcher who studies how new technologies enhance learning, and how teachers can effectively integrate technology into their classrooms, and how educational communities use social media to collaborate. He has published over 100 articles related to his research, and his work has been supported by the U.S Department of Education and the National Science Foundation.
Matthew moved to Michigan in 2000. Along with his wife and two children, he has lived in Okemos since 2009. Matthew has been an OEF trustee since March 2017. Visit his website at: matt-koehler.com
