served as an OEF trustee during the 2015-16 school year. Kurt graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education from Aquinas College and proceeded to do his student teaching at Chippewa Middle School and Bennett Woods Elementary. Kurt taught for five years and then embarked on the challenge of becoming a Financial Planner. Kurt attained multiple investment licenses and went on to manage a group of planners for John Hancock Financial until 2011. Kurt has stayed in the world of finance and is currently with Independent Bank at their Okemos location.
