is an Okemos alumnus from the class of 1990. She earned a bachelor degree at Michigan State University in Advertising. After college she moved to Grand Rapids to begin her advertising career and quickly became the head of marketing for Haworth, a wholesale furniture company. Moving back to the Okemos area in 2000 with her husband, she started her own advertising business. Both of her children attend Okemos Public Schools and she has made it her mission to make sure the schools have ample funding for necessities and for extra learning opportunities. As part of the Okemos Public Montessori’s PTO, she helped raise over $50,000. Kim served as an OEF trustee during the 2016-17 school year.
