grew up in Okemos in the Indian Hills and Shoals neighborhoods. She attended Central Elementary, Chippewa Middle School and graduated from OHS in 2002. She then attended Lansing Community College, studying photojournalism. Aly is currently working as a Parts CSR at Block Imaging, a Holt-based company which helps health care facilities maintain their medical imaging equipment so they can provide great medical care to their patients. She finds this position fulfilling and is grateful to work with an amazing team. Aly lives with her Lansing Firefighter boyfriend and her 12-year-old daughter, Angelina, who attends Okemos schools.

Aly keeps busy with her daughter’s activities - orchestra, drama and dance – and she enjoys traveling, going to concerts and plays, and doing yoga. Aly also enjoys volunteering in Okemos, a community that she loves. Aly has been an OEF trustee since August 2016.
