Sheryl Hudler, 2006 "Commitment to Excellence" Award Recipient

Sheryl HudlerSheryl Hudler is a fifth grade teacher at Wardcliff Elementary School. She began her career 28 years ago as a strings teacher in Okemos and continues to teach Suzuki Violin classes and workshops throughout the country. She taught kindergarten at Bennett Woods Elementary until she became a fifth grade teacher. She has served on many committees, including the Language Arts Committee, and has presented at several Michigan Council of Teachers of English workshops.

Sheryl earned her Bachelor of Arts from Albion College and a Masters of Arts from Michigan State University. Outside the classroom, she continues to seek new knowledge and quench her passion for learning by taking classes, teaching and playing the violin, drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, and reading.
