Connie Osborn Deits Science Enrichment Fund

The Connie Osborn Deits Science Enrichment Fund was announced at the 2008 Commitment to Excellence Banquet. 

Connie and her husband, Tom, worked on science outreach for many years both inside and outside the district. While their son Robin attended Okemos Public Schools they were instrumental in their involvement with the district's parent group, Supporters of Okemos Science.

Sadly, Connie passed away in early 2008. In memory of her strong commitment to science education, the Deits family has endowed this fund to increase the understanding and appreciation of science by students in Okemos. This fund will be used for science enrichment and activities at all levels of the district.

The review periods for the 2010 - 2011 school year are listed below. In order to be considered during one of these review periods, applications must be received no later than:

October 1, 2010
February 4, 2011
April 21, 2011
